The tumblrground railroad never dissappoints. We’ve found two amazing new friends who are about to move back to Portland.  Life is good.

Natalie is very proud of her leafy greens. This is what 75 cents buys you on Sauvie Island. Berries, and lettuce and herbs, OH MY!!!

Currently, on The Dock of the Gay.

When you live in a floating house, friends tend to just show up when you’re not home and take your canoes out for a spin, then leave you fresh berries and flowers picked on the island. It’s like gifts for Santa…but better.

We never should have taken him out on the dock. We’ve created a VERY determined little monster.

Frank is NOT sure about the sound of the waves around and under the dock. But he IS sure that he does not approve of being on a leash.

You never really get used to a 200 yard flat boat full of gravel and such chugging past your house every day.

In honor of Caturday we have Frank on a leash on the back dock with us. No shame people, no shame.

Sun tea tastes better when it sits on the dock. It’s science.

We bought some sunflowers to enhance the view from our bed onto our balcony…now all we need is some sun.

I’ve never really understood the old “life is just a bowl full of cherries” until right now.

Natalie is NOT happy about leaving me, the sunshine, the floating house, and the smell of sunscreen and beer. And yes she has a Netflix backpack…because she’s kind of a big deal.
